Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is now required for all team members. It is available under the Volunteer Missionary Insurance of Adams & Associates. The coverage includes 24 hour medical assistance for accidents and sickness, medical expenses, emergency medical transportation to the United States from Haiti, and property loss or damage to your baggage.
The cost for this coverage is $2.75 per day. This is over and above your team fare. Upon request, complete coverage information and an enrollment form will be sent to your group leader or to you if you are traveling by yourself. If you wish to use this insurance, simply complete the enrollment form and send it along with your payment directly to Adams and Associates. When you send in your enrollment form, remember to ask for a receipt to confirm your insurance coverage.
If you wish, you can enroll on-line. You can find Adams and Associates at http://www.aaintl.com. On their home page, click on On-Line Enrollments. In the Client Log-In, type in HAITI as the user name and CAZEAU as the password. From there, click on Volunteer Program and then Volunteer Missionary Insurance Enrollment. Fill out the enrollment form accordingly.
Group leaders can fill out one form for their group. Make sure to include all the days you will be traveling including the days you leave and arrive home.
There are several converage plans. Select the one for $2.75 a day.
